It took a few minutes of laughter before Kuya Chico could answer the question about what he would be if not a radio DJ. He could not think of other answers since in the past ten years, he did not thought of doing something else but to fulfill his one and only dream—to become a radio DJ.

Somewhere in June 2009, there was this young and conscious Mark Jemel Gales who was nervous to air for the first time. Almost a decade later and you can now tune in every morning listening to a “spontaneous”, “brilliantly crazy”, and “humble” Kuya Chico of 106.7 Energy FM.
